It's Still Hot Here
I almost didn't recognize this when I first saw it-- a moment of superstitious dread later, I remembered "Clouds"....oh, yeah......
Here's a bit of scorched earth, just outside my kitchen window
and this is what the autobalance did to another angle on the cloud-- looks like summer in hell......or Texas!
Ya'll stay cool,now!

A Red Letter Day!
So I took the test--felt good, got good feedback, came home to find......my temp LICENSE!!!!
Yay!! I'm now legal to practice massage in the state of Texas until New Year's eve or recieving my permanent license, whichever comes first. Wheee! Oh, boy!
But wait--there's more! The icing on the cake....... Mariana--known and loved as Gatochy--

featured one of my photographs in her ongoing Image Association series!! Holy unexpected pleasure! I could just plotz! This has been the most encouraging day of my life, no exaggeration. I feel very fortunate, appreciated, and optimistic about things in general. My humble thanks to everyone who has contributed to this wonderful day! Sometimes, life just doesn't suck. namaste

"I'm Melting! Oh, what a world...."
Bloody hell, pet! It is over 100 degrees here! I'm not exaggerating even a little--properly 100 and above! At least the heat has taken care of the faerie swarm-- hardly a stolen child or cow tail knotted 'round these parts this week. We scuttle from shady bit to shady bit-- the slower among us occasionally burst into flame. I think someone moved the sun much much closer as some sort of nasty practical joke--the bastard!
Despite the nearly lethal heat, things are going well. After a month of feeling overwhelmed and unconfident, something went "click" the other day, and I realized "It's not math, it's poetry, and I understand poetry". I had been overusing my left brain--cobwebs and all--trying to learn these new massage modalities. I'm better now. The sessions I've done over the past couple of days have been very satisfying for all concerned-- it's like I found my hands after misplacing them for a few weeks.
The job market is looking good currently--many places looking to hire therapists--spas, clinics and so forth-so yea that!
The contact jugling continues to be challenging and fun--people tell me I've improved--god, I hope so, as much as I play with these durn things!
My friends tell me I look happier than they've ever seen me before. They are right. My gratitude to everyone in my world--you've all contributed to this happiness, and thanks to all of you in Lisbon, Helsinki, Michigan and Austin! namaste
